Community Zine Workshop | Sunday April 27 | 2:00-4:00
Sunday, from 2-4pm Community members of all ages are invited to join us for a creative afternoon of zine-making.
This free workshop is open to everyone! Whether you're new to zines or have made them before, come and enjoy a fun, relaxed space to create. Some experienced artists and zinesters will be there to support and guide you as you make your zine and all materials will be provided. Bring your family and friends, or come make new friends!
What is a zine? Zines (pronounced ZEENS) are DIY publications where people share art, express ideas, and disseminate information. Zines have been around for over 100 years and have been instrumental in helping members of the LGBTQ+ and other marginalized communities have a voice and connect with others.
Do you have a message to share? Or do you simply feel like making art while hanging out with a supportive community? Join us!
This workshop is FREE to attend! All materials will be provided.
Donations to help us cover supplies and facilitation are accepted but not required.
